. . . P H A S E S
A project that explores transformation and cyclical change, drawing inspiration from the lunar cycle and its metaphorical connections to emotional and creative states.
Each piece represents a different lunar phase, musically, spiritually, and
thematically, using the moon's orbit as a structural and symbolic framework.
Broken down into solo melodic sketches, this project begins with a set of two released EP’s: Piano Iterations Vol.01 & Piano Iterations Vol.02.
Together, these piano iterations present early forms of works that will later expand into chamber arrangements as part of a forthcoming album titled PHASES.
These initial sketches offer a raw, intimate glimpse into the compositional process, capturing the essence of musical ideas in their most distilled form.
This project is both a reflective milestone and an invitation to collaborators, listeners, and creatives alike, to follow along as the moon shifts it’s light and the music composes itself in phases.

Piano Iterations Vol. 01 marks the first instalment in a two-part exploration of transformation, memory, and musical evolution. Framed as an archive of music in motion, it presents four solo piano compositions. These works trace the movement of a self in transition, shaped by passing moods and phases. Beneath their minimal surfaces lies a world of introspective nuance, where melody and structure are allowed to breathe, adapt, and evolve. Piano Iterations Vol.01 doesn’t just document where the music is, it signals where it’s headed.

Iteration I
A quiet reflection on new beginnings, this piece captures the feeling of entering the world with fresh eyes, curious, open, and full of quiet wonder. It gently explores what it means to start over, to find joy in the simplest things, and to move through the world with softness. The music unfolds like a breath, unhurried and sincere, honoring the peaceful beauty in small, honest moments.

Iteration II
Focused and forward-moving, this piece embodies the quiet determination of setting a plan into motion. Carrying a mysterious tone with a sense of gathering, research, reflection, and resolve. Like a crescent just beginning to grow, it maps the space between vision and action, where clarity emerges and momentum quietly builds. Something is coming, and this is where it begins to take shape.

Iteration III
Iteration III echoes a soul worn thin. Emptied by relentless effort, holding the weight of exhaustion but still persisting. It is devotion without return, a patience for some kind of reverberation. There’s a stillness that follows sustained effort, where the fire remains, just burning lower. It accepts that this holding space is natural and that there’s something to be learned in the pause.
Iteration IV
A tribute to growth and forward motion, Iteration IV captures the moment when the path ahead finally comes into light. What once felt distant now draws near. The weight lifts, and a clarity settles in. It feels like the end of something heavy, yet also the beginning of something more, guided by purpose and open to hope. There’s no urgency, no force or escape. Just a release, a turning point and a deep breath before the next step.

Piano Iterations Vol. 02 builds on the foundation of Vol. 01, moving from the first sparks of hope and growth into a deeper exploration of emotional contrasts, release, and acceptance. These four solo piano sketches confront tension and duality, capturing the process of learning, reflection, and maturing within the music. Where Vol. 01 celebrated beginnings, Vol. 02 reveals the emotional layers hidden in the darkness as it gently cycles back toward the light.

Iteration V
Iteration V unfolds as a journey of incarnation, where determination serves as both guide and omen. Hidden beneath ominous phrases lies a sense of adventure and excitement. A war of spirits, ambitious yet tinged with lingering desperation. It uncovers innocence within darkness, and darkness within innocence, not quite seeking balance, but a deeper harmony. It seeks to capture the scattered mind and the mysterious pull of the full moon: beautiful, fleeting, and just a little wild.

Iteration VI
Iteration VI traces the search for a lost heart. The attempt to feel again what once came so easily in artistry. Over time, self-protection, restrictions and judgements, dulled not only disappointment but also joy, leaving a numbness toward the very craft that once lit everything up. This piece questions whether passion was truly lost, or simply buried, and leans toward rediscovery: to move beyond mere survival and return to the pulse of wonder, presence, and the simple joy of loving what is.

Iteration VII
Iteration VII dwells in stagnation, caught between reality and a dream. The music moves through tension and resistance, pulled by currents of ambition. With each attempt to blossom toward the sun, it longs for release, for opportunity and movement beyond the familiar, even as it circles back to the patterns that hold it in place.
Iteration VIII
Iteration VIII drifts through phases of mystery and resolution, tracing a quiet reckoning. It recalls fragments from earlier moments, distant and half-lit, like the dark moon before it glows again. The piece rises and falls in contemplation, eventually arriving at a familiar sense of stillness and understanding.
